Holiday HQ: Mission Starlight (October Mid-Term Camp)

Prepare for lift-off! This October Mid-Term, Holiday HQ becomes Mission Starlight, where spookiness meets space!

Across four action-packed days, children will journey beyond the stars with a brand-new mission every day. They’ll train as astronauts, explore a Haunted Galaxy, investigate an Alien Invasion and finish their adventure with Spookiness in Space.

Each mission brings together creativity, active play, teamwork, STEM, cooking and discovery, with exciting Hero Activities, Make & Takes and Workshops to enjoy along the way.

Holiday HQ: Mission Starlight Schedule

  • Mission 1: Astronaut Academy

    Mission Control is calling... welcome to Astronaut Academy! Young space cadets will begin their training by building 3D astronauts, creating a glowing Planet Earth, delivering messages across the galaxy and solving the Mystery of the Milky Way through STEM. Then, one final challenge awaits before lift-off... Man from Mars! Will they be ready for their next spooky mission?

  • Mission 2: The Haunted Galaxy

    Enter if you dare... The Haunted Galaxy awaits! Forget haunted houses. This October Mid-Term, the ghosts have taken over the galaxy! Children will dodge speeding asteroids, hunt mysterious Cosmic Ghosts, create spooky Haunted Galaxy Slime and step inside our Glow in the Dark Studio to create vibrant galaxy-inspired artwork.

  • Mission 03: Alien Invasion

    Earth needs you! Aliens have landed and Mission Control needs help! Young recruits will hunt mysterious creatures, build their own UFOs and investigate Alien Goo through STEM. Then, they’ll defend the galaxy in Space Invaders and create a Fruit Solar System before their final mission begins.

  • Final Mission: Spookiness in Space

    One last mission before landing! Mission Starlight ends with a spooktacular Halloween celebration that's completely out of this world. Children will race through the Pumpkin Patch Dash, take on the Zombie Nation challenge, create a glowing Galaxy Creation and build delicious Spooky Rocket fruit kebabs. Then it's time to celebrate with our Halloween Parade, featuring spooky activity stations including Zombie Eyeball Toss, Spider Web Limbo, Monster Spaghetti Race, Poke-a-Ghost and more.

Mission Starlight isn't just about completing the mission, children can bring a piece of their adventure home with them too! Throughout October Mid Term, they will get creative with special Make & Take sessions, crafting their own space and spooky-inspired creations to take home as Holiday HQ keepsakes.

Did you know your National Childcare Scheme (NCS) subsidy can be used towards Holiday HQ?

At our highest Holiday HQ rate, four full days (08:30–17:30) cost €216.00, and with an NCS subsidy of €2.14 per hour applied, this could drop to just €138.96 for all four days. And you could pay even less! Prices may be lower if your local Holiday HQ operates at a lower rate or if you're entitled to an NCS subsidy of more than €2.14 per hour.
